WELCOME MESSAGE

Citizens of Madawaska – Restigouche,

I have proudly represented you as Member of Parliament for our large region since June 2004. Representing you is a task I have taken seriously and with passion. You can be confident in the work I have done for you and together with you. My three offices in the region serve 62 000 citizens living in over 30 000 households.

I believe in our values and I will make sure the decisions made within this government are in the best interest of our region. To find myself in the opposition was a challenge that I accept with enthusiasm. I will continue to work to promote economic development, to defend our universal healthcare system, to find ways to finance post-secondary education, to implement a national childcare program and to stand up for our seasonal workers. My promises are clear and I will continue to defend them throughout this mandate.

To represent Madawaska – Restigouche and its population is a great honor to me and that is why I am sure that together we can make our region a great success.

Hope to see you soon,

Signature
JEAN-CLAUDE « J.C. » D'AMOURS
MP for Madawaska – Restigouche
